ReSpace Company Update
October 2024
As we continue our mission to transform homeownership, we’re excited to update you on our recent developments across property acquisition, technology, marketing, partnerships, and outreach efforts.
Property Development:
- reSpace 1: We anticipate securing permits from the City of Seattle by Q1 2025. Production of 3D renderings for pre-sale marketing is underway, with initial reviews expected soon.
- Columbia City Parcel: Feasibility assessments are complete, and negotiations are ongoing.
- Third Property: We’re actively raising funds to acquire a property needing minimal renovation. This fast-to-market opportunity allows us to demonstrate demand with immediate co-homeownership sales. Investors can expect a 3-year term with projected returns starting at 13.1% in Year 1.
Operations & Technology Vision:
We are advancing our tech vision, reSpace Envision, which sets the foundation for an efficient, profitable, and scalable PropTech 3.0 platform. Initially leveraging existing tools for operational efficiency, we’re laying the groundwork for a comprehensive platform to optimize the entire property lifecycle—from acquisition to long-term living.
Marketing & Outreach:
Our new blog is live on reSpace.co, now a centralized resource for all our previously published articles across social platforms. We use social media to increase site traffic, build waitlists, and boost brand visibility. This digital marketing strategy will drive awareness among customers and investors, with consistent content and SEO optimization elevating reSpace’s position in the Co-Homeownership space. Please support us by following, liking, and commenting on our posts on LinkedIn and Facebook.
Partnerships & Collaborations:
Our recent Spokane trip facilitated promising discussions:
- Washington Trust Bank: Executives showed enthusiasm for reSpace’s model, expressing interest in pilot projects, their builder network, and financial support.
- City of Spokane: Mayor Lisa Brown and Steve MacDonald conveyed strong support for reSpace’s community impact and redevelopment potential, inviting further collaboration with city officials.
- Blythe Thimsen: Eager to join as an anchor partner, Blythe provided key insights and registered with reSpace immediately.
- John Powers: Former Mayor Powers offered networking support and facilitation to assist reSpace’s expansion efforts.
Investor Acquisition Efforts:
We recently featured on America’s Next Investment, which aired on CNBC and generated over 120 new investor leads. We implemented automated response systems to accelerate engagement and developed a streamlined presentation deck to enhance conversion from interest to funding.
Introducing the reSpace 1% Foundation:
Every time a reSpace suite changes ownership, 1% will support our Foundation’s initiatives in financial empowerment, homelessness alleviation, and community resilience. We believe thriving communities are a core measure of our success and a key driver for reSpace’s future impact.
